Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target region has begun rotating over the North East limb with its main leading polarity spot coming into view. This region has produced multiple B-class and three C-class events since the last message, including the largest flare of the period (a C3.0 on 20-Aug-2021 at 15:50 UT), all of which are still footpoint occulted by the North East limb. Further C-class flares are expected over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 20-Aug-2021 at 22:00 UT is:
N20E90 , ( -891", 322" )
