Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. NOAA 12602 stabilized in its decay phase over the past 24 hours, maintaining spot area and number of spots. This region retained its beta/C-type sunspot classification. B-class flares are possible over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12602 on 22-Oct-2016 at 17:30 UT is:
N06W77, ( 934", 80" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
