MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. All regions on the visible solar disk are decaying. The background flux is slowly rising today from the B1 level to the B3 level. Target region NOAA 2093 is displaying significant decay but is currently the brightest and most dynamic region in H-alpha images. B-class activity possible with the chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2093 on June 23 at 11:00 UT is: S09W25 (Solar X = 395", Solar Y = -177")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
