Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level with the GOES soft X-ray flux below C1. The largest event since the last message was a B9.5 flare at 04:55 UT today produced by NOAA 14416 (N20W41), which remains a beta/D-type configuration. The target region NOAA 14419 produced four B-class flares during the period, the largest one being a B8.1 at 04:38 UT today. 14419 has been designated as a beta-gamma/C-type region, increasing in the sunspot area and number of spots. C-class activity is expected over the next 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 14419 on April 15 at 07:30 UT is: N13E54 (-755", 268")
