Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region NOAA 12936 has shown some evolution over the past 24 hours, now being classified as a beta/E-type sunspot group. This region contains some intermediate pores, several of which have consolidated into the primary leading and trailing sunspots. NOAA 12396 has continued producing C-class activity since the last message (6 in total, but all low C-class). Additional C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, while the Max Millennium coordinated observing plan #003 (Region Likely To Produce A Major Flare) will remain in effect as NOAA 12936 retains the potential to produce a >M5 flare.
The position of NOAA 12936 on 31-Jan-2022 at 16:00 UT is:
N17W18 , ( 285", 377" )
