MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2757 continues to slowly decay and was quiescent in the past 24 hour period. There is a short filament located just south/southeast that has recently become activated. This activation may die away or it may continue resulting in an eruption of the filament. No significant solar flare events expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2757 on January 31 at 13:30 UT is: N03W60 (Solar X = 844", Solar Y = 101")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
