MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1682 increased its sunspot area and spot count but lost its weak beta-gamma magnetic configuration. It is now a simple D-type/beta region. 1682 was the source of the largest x-ray event (B8.3 at 02/27/03:22 UT) since the last message. Additional B-class activity expected with the chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hours. There is a new region rotating over the southeastern limb at S18 that produced a B5.6 event yesterday.
The position of NOAA 1682 on February 27 at 14:00 UT is: S18W11 (Solar X = 176", Solar Y = -184")
