MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target region (N03W25, A-type/alpha) is now in decay phase. We will switch to an emerging flux region located in the northwestern quadrant. The EFR is currently displaying a B-type/beta sunspot group. A-type events possible with a slight chance of B-class activity if the region continues in growth phase in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on June 24 at 11:00 UT is: N03W45 (Solar X = 669", Solar Y = 025")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
