Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has been very low since the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.4 flare at 11:28 UT today (8/3) from the target region, NOAA 14498. This region was slightly reduced in size but maintains its magnetic complexity of a beta-delta type. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14498 on the small sunspot with mixed polarity, that is located in the Southeast of the main (positive polarity) sunspot. Additional C class events are expected.

The position of the target in NOAA 14498 on 3-August-2026 at 15:30 UT is: N12W09 (159", 117").
