MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA regions 2671 and 2672 are continuing to decay. 2671 has had a significant loss of sunspot count and area and 2672 has lost its magnetic delta configuration. Both regions produced numerous B- and C-class events since the last message. Target region NOAA 2672 was the source of the largest event (C2.2 at 08/23/13:42 UT). B-class events expected and a C-class event probable from the target region and B-class events probable with the chance of another C-class event from 2671 (N10W39) in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2672 on August 23 at 13:30 UT is: N08E39 (Solar X = -593", Solar Y = 042")
