Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has slightly reduced since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C4.0 flare at 6:40 UT yesterday (8/18) produced by the target region, NOAA 14507. This region also produced a C3.2 flare at 17:42 UT yesterday, while NOAA 14510 and its adjacent region, NOAA 14506 showed several low-C class activities in the last 24 hours.

NOAA 14507 is undergoing further flux emergence in its trailing portion that increases magnetic complexity of this area. Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14507, at the Northwest extension of the trailing sunspot, expecting additional C-class events.

The position of the target in NOAA 14507 on 18-August-2026 at 16:00 UT is: N03W46 (690", -19").
