Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA region 12783 has remained stable in terms of its number of spots and spot area since the last message. This region continues to be classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot group and has produced two B-class flares over the past 24 hours. A new region that is still located over the South East limb has produced multiple B-class flares and the largest event of the period - an occulted C1.0 flare on 21-Nov-2020 at 18:10 UT. This limb region will become the new target. Further B-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour period, with low C-class activity also likely.
The approximate position of this region on 21-Nov-2020 at 18:00 UT is:
S23E90 , ( -894", -379" )
