Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been very low since the last message. The largest event in the period was a B7.8 at 12:41 UT today (10/1). Two regions appear to have contributed to this event, one is NOAA 14535 at a plage in the North of the sunspot, the other is a plage close to the Northeast limb at the latitude ~20 degree North. The latter region holds tiny sunspots and is the source of a B5.0 event at 2:26 UT.
Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14535, but the target will be a plage in the North of the main sunspot. High-B to low-C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14535 on 1-October-2026 at 16:00 UT is: N14W64 (838", 186").
