Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains high. The largest event since the last message was an M1.5 flare from NOAA 12891 in the northeast quadrant. The target region NOAA 12887 has remained relatively quiescent since the X-class flare yesterday, and has continued to decay. It retains its beta-gamma configuration, with signs of polarity mixing in its trailing portion. Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect with chance for an additional >M5 flare over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12887 on 29-Oct-2021 at 07:30 UT is:
S26W12, ( 181", -492" )
