Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained steady over the last 24 hours. A number of flares were produced, the largest being an M1.1 from NOAA 13796 at 05:53 UT today. NOAA 13796 continues to demonstrate dynamic sunspot activity and has further grown in area. This region remains classified as a beta-gamma. NOAA 13796 will remain the target region, additional C-class activity is likely, with a chance for a low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13796 on 21-August-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S04E34, (-530",-160")
