Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at the C-level with NOAA 12497 now on the western limb. The largest event since the last message was a C9.4 at 04:54 UT today. The magnetic configuration of the region is now uncertain but it is reasonable to assume that C-level activity will continue until the region transits the western limb. Chance also remains for an isolated low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12497 on 17-Feb-2016 at 18:35 UT is:
N13W87, ( 944", 222" )
