MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless. The target tall thin prominence showing mostly vertical structure in H-alpha images slowly disappeared by dissolution and also by rotating further over the limb. The target will continue to be the west limb passage of the filament/prominence system for the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on January 22 at 08:00 UT is: N46W70 (Solar X = 637", Solar Y = 720")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
