MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was low in the last 24 hours. The largest x-ray event was a C2.6 at 06/01/02:53 UT. The source region was NOAA 1228 (N16E41). 1228 is a C-type sunspot group with a simple beta magnetic configuration. Target region, NOAA 1226, only managed to produce a B6.9 and a B7.5 during the last period. 1226 is classified D-type/beta and continues in slow decay phase. Solar flare activity is expected to continue at a low level for the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 01 at 15:30 UT is: S22E18 (Solar X = -272", Solar Y = -343")
