MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current visible solar disk is spotless and plageless with an increase in the level of solar activity not expected anytime soon. The large target filament located in the southern polar zone is mostly unchanged.
The position of the target on October 19 at 08:30 UT is: S46E66 (Solar X = -612", Solar Y = -717")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
