Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a low level. The largest event was a C2.5 flare at 12:40 UT yesterday from a plage region located at S21W82. Additionally, NOAA 14462 (N16W83) produced two C1.0 flares and a B6.8 flare, while NOAA 14466 (N06W81) produced a B8.2 flare and a C1.5 flare. However, these three regions have rotated nearly beyond the west limb. The target region, NOAA 14464, produced a B9.1 flare at 10:40 UT today and still retains a beta/D-type sunspot group. Therefore, today the target will remain at 14464. Low-C flares are probable over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14464 on 14-Jun-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
S13W51 (716", -222")
