Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a high level. The target region NOAA 14479 was the source of 11 low M-class plus 6 C-class flares over the past 24 hours, the largest ones being two M3.2 flares. Please note that the largest flare during the period was an X1.1 flare at 07/04/20:29 UT produced by a newly numbered region NOAA 14482 (S08E75), which is still at the southeast limb. Today we will continue to watch NOAA 14479 for a final 24 hours as it is rotating over the west limb. Low M-class activities are expected with a good chance of major flares from NOAA 14479 and 14482 in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14479 on July 5 at 03:30 UT is: N16W81 (896", 251")
