Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. The target region is now numbered as NOAA 14455 and produced the largest flare since the last message, which was a C2.9 at 13:19 UT yesterday. Currently, NOAA 14455 is classified as an alpha-type region with a sunspot area of ~ 450 μh, however this may change as the region progresses further into view. NOAA 14455 will continue as the target region with further C-class activity expected.
The position of NOAA 14455 on 28-May-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
N14E71, (-869", 235") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
