Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity persists at a low level. The largest flare of the last 24 hours was an M1.2 from NOAA 14455 at 06:40 UT today. NOAA 14455 is now classified as a beta type region. This region continues to show a significant level of flux and there appears to be a further connected portion yet to transit onto the disk. NOAA 14455 will remain the target region. Further C-class activity is expected with further chance for isolated low M-class events.
The position of NOAA 14455 on 29-May-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
N15E58, (-776", 253") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
