Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Several flares have been produced since the last message, the largest being a C4.8 from NOAA 14444 at 11:45 UT today. NOAA 14455 appears to be fully progressed onto the disk, however a bright region still remains beyond the northeastern limb, which may produce further occulted activity. Elsewhere, sunspot activity appears steady across the disk. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14455 on 30-May-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
N15E44, (-636", 255") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
