Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. The largest flare produced in the last 24 hours was a C3.1 from NOAA 14446 at 01:59 UT today. The active region eastward of the target region continues its transition onto the disk and appears to show significant flux. The target region, NOAA 14455, has been relatively quiet since the last message. In general activity across the disk remains low. As the region beyond the northeastern limb continues to progress onto the disk, NOAA 14455 will continue as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected.
The position of NOAA 14455 on 31-May-2026 at 07:30 UT is:
N15E34, (-512", 256") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
