Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C8.7 flare at 23:18 UT yesterday, produced by an eastern limb region (S06E78; not yet numbered). This limb region also produced more than ten additional C-class flares during the period, including a C6.0 flare. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14475 (S09E31, beta-gamma/C-type), produced several low C-class flares, including a C3.5 flare. Today, the target will switch to the eastern limb region. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 24-Jun-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
S06E78 (-919", -106")
