Dear Collaborators, Solar activity remains low since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C3.5 flare at 3:04 UT today(10/22) produced by NOAA 14560 located in the NorthEast of NOAA 14557. NOAA 14560 shows further flux emergence at the central area and developed to a beta-gamma type. This region produced three other low-C class and a few high-B class flares in the last 24 hours.
The target region, NOAA 14557 reduced both in size and magnetic complexity, only produced a C1.4 flare and 2 high-B class events. Today we will switch the default target to NOAA 14560 to observe the sunspots in the central portion with mixed polarity. Additional C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14560 on 22-October-2026 at 16:00 UT is: N11W37 (580", 118").
