MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The prominence target located on the southwestern limb at S25 degrees continues in an active phase but the target will switch today to the small region located in the northeastern quadrant. The region has slowly developed from a single sunspot yesterday to several small spots with a beta magnetic configuration. There is a slight chance of minor B-class activity in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on October 02 at 10:45 UT is: N12E66 (Solar X = -858", Solar Y = 154")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
