Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased slightly since the last message. The target region NOAA 14561 (S11W91, beta/D-type) produced the largest event of the period, a C1.0 flare at 06:00 UT today, as well as several B-class flares. Although it has now rotated just beyond the west limb, it remains the most flare-productive region in the period. Today we will continue to watch this region, for a final 24 hours. Further low C-class activity remains possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14561 on 28-Oct-2026 at 08:30 UT is:
S11W91 (947", -182")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org and the newer version https://solmon.dias.ie for images and other information.
