Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at low levels since the last message. The target region has now been designated NOAA 14561 (S11W84, beta/D-type). It produced the largest event of the period, a C2.8 flare at 18:17 UT yesterday, as well as several B-class flares. Although it is approaching the west limb, it remains the most flare-productive region on the visible disk. Today, the target will remain at NOAA 14561. Further low C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14561 on 27-Oct-2026 at 12:30 UT is:
S11W84 (942",-191")
