Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message, with several low C-class flares reported. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14560 (N13W89, beta/F-type), is approaching the west limb and shows signs of sunspot decay. It produced two C1.5 flares and several B-class events during the period. The small emerging region (S09W70; unnumbered yet) in the southwest quadrant mentioned yesterday is now showing rapid and significant magnetic flux emergence. This region produced the largest event of the period, a C1.9 flare starting at 08:21 UT today, as well as three low C-class flares (C1.0, C1.3, and C1.5). Today, the target will switch to this emerging region. Further low C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 26-Oct-2026 at 08:30 UT is:
S09W70 (897", -179")
