Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is extremely low. The visible solar disk is now spotless, and no flares have occurred for several days. A set of small EUV loops are visible beyond the South East limb, signalling the return of the small spot region previously numbered as NOAA 12765. This will become the new target, but no change in flaring activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 29-Jun-2020 at 23:00 UT is:
S28E90 , ( -833", -442" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
