Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a low level since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C2.6 flare at 22:30 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 14473 (S08E49). 14473 has increased in magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma/E-type, with continued magnetic flux emergence and mixed polarity around its leading sunspots. Today, the Major Flare Watch will remain with NOAA 14473 for a further 24 hours. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated >M5 flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14473 on 22-Jun-2026 11:30 UT is:
S08E49, (-707", -151")
