Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The emerging flux region in the southwest quadrant has now been designated as NOAA 11440. The region is classified as a beta-gamma-delta region due to some polarity mixing in the trailing sunspot but still maintains a low sunspot area. Several low C-class flares were produced as the region emerged indicating that further intermediate level activity is likely.
The position of NOAA 11440 on 22-Mar-2012 at 12:30 UT is:
S26W31, ( 452", -331" )
