Dear Collaborators,

Following the 4 low-M class events reposted in the previous message, an M6.9 flare was produced at 9:32 UT today (8/25) from the target region, NOAA 14513. An SolarSoft movie of this event is available at

At this time, we will implement the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14513. The area of leading sunspots is forming a sharp boundary of opposite polarity magnetic field patches, which is the main source of a series of M class events. Further flare activities of M class or larger are expected in the next 24 hours.

The position of the target in NOAA 14513 on 25-August-2026 at 15:30 UT is: N03E28 (-35", -59").
