Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been very low since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C1.3 flare at 18:53 UT yesterday(10/23) from the target region, NOAA 14560. This region produced additional low-C and high-B class events at around 7UT today, but other than those, GOES/XRS soft X-ray flux(1-8A) stayed at B4 to B5 level.
Although fewer flares were reported, NOAA 14560 is showing some new flux emergence with sunspot motion at the central area. Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14560, a group of small sunspots in the East of the leading sunspot. Additional C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14560 on 24-October-2026 at 15:30 UT is: N12W69 (883", 174").
