Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last
message. The largest event in the period was a C5.0 flare at 4:45 UT
today (8/19) produced by the region behind the Northeast limb at the
latitude of ~5 degrees. This yet unnumbered region produced another
~C5 class flare (C4.9 at 13:27 UT today) and several low-C class
flares since later yesterday. This region should be closely monitored,
but the observation is limited due to its proximity to the limb.
The target region, NOAA 14507, slightly increased its size and magnetic
complexity from yesterday and was re-classified as a beta-gamma-delta
type. This region produced 8 C class flares with the largest being a C3.9
at 2:51 UT today. In the next 24 hours, the target will remain at NOAA
14507 because of the magnetic complexity retained. We will continue
to observe the Northwest extension of the trailing sunspot, Additional
C-class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14507 on 19-August-2026 at
16:00 UT is: N03W60 (825", 4").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly reduced since the last message. The
largest event in the period was a C4.0 flare at 6:40 UT yesterday
(8/18) produced by the target region, NOAA 14507. This region also
produced a C3.2 flare at 17:42 UT yesterday, while NOAA 14510
and its adjacent region, NOAA 14506 showed several low-C class
activities in the last 24 hours.
NOAA 14507 is undergoing further flux emergence in its trailing
portion that increases magnetic complexity of this area. Today we
will continue to observe NOAA 14507, at the Northwest extension
of the trailing sunspot, expecting additional C-class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14507 on 18-August-2026 at
16:00 UT is: N03W46 (690", -19").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low to moderate level since the last
message. The largest event in the period was a C8.2 flare at 19:10 UT
yesterday(8/16) produced by NOAA 14506. This region increased magnetic
complexity, now classified as a beta-gamma type. 14506 is the source
of several other C class flares since the last message, but somewhat
settled after the C8.2 event.
The target region, NOAA 14507, continued to grow in size and magnetic
complexity to be reclassified as a beta-gamma/E-type region. This region
produced 9 low-C class flares in the last 24 hours. Another source of
flares (2 low-Cs) was NOAA 14510 where new sunspots emerged at
its original trailing area.
Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14507, at the central portion
with mixed polarities. Additional C-class events are expected.
The position of the target on 17-August-2026 at 15:30 UT is:
N03W35 (550", -33").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at low-C levels since the last
message. Most flares originated from the target region
NOAA 14507 and NOAA 14506. 14507 produced ten flares,
the largest of which was a C3.7 event at 03:13 UT today.
This region continues to show the emerging mixed magnetic
fluxes in its intermediate portion and retains a beta/D-type
sunspot classification. 14506 (N11W38, beta/D-type)
generated seven low-C flares, with signs of shearing and
additional flux emergence. Today, the target will remain at
14507, with 14506 included if possible. More low-C activities
are expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at low-C levels since the last
message. NOAA 14508 (N07E20, beta/C-type) generated
the largest events being a C4.3 at 21:45 UT yesterday and
a C3.3 at 08:09 UT today. The target region NOAA 14507
has increased in spot area and number, now classified as a
beta/D-type sunspot group. This region produced a C2.1 flare
at 13:30 UT today. Moreover, NOAA 14506 (N11W24,
beta/B-type) also was the source of two ~C1 flares, with the
emergence of new magnetic fluxes. Today the target shall
continue at 14507 (with 14506 included). Further B-class
activity is expected, with a chance of additional low-C flares
in the coming 24 hours.

The level of solar activity has increased since the last message.
NOAA 14503 (S17W60, beta/C-type) produced the largest flare,
a C4.1 at 06:38 UT today. NOAA 14507 has continued to develop
and is now classified as a beta-gamma/D-type. It has produced
seven mid-to-high B-class flares. Today the target will switch back
to 14507. Yesterday’s target has been designated NOAA 14511,
but it remained flare-quiet during the period. Further B-class
activity is expected, with a chance of low-C flares in the next 24
hours.

Solar activity has dropped to a mid-B level. The largest event
was a B7.4 flare at 02:02 UT today produced by an unnumbered
region near the southeast limb. This region also produced two
additional mid-B flares, making it the most active area on the
disk. Accordingly, today's target shall switch to this limb region,
while yesterday’s target, NOAA 14507 (N04E22, beta/D-type),
only produced a B5.4 flare at 10:52 UT today. Further B-class
activity is expected over the following 24 hours.

Solar activity has remained at a low level in the last 24 hours.
The largest event during this period was a C2.5 flare at 22:55
UT yesterday, originating from the newly emerged active region
NOAA 14507. This region was also the source of a C1.7 plus
five mid-B flares. It has been classified as a beta/C-type magnetic
configuration. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14505, has completely
rotated out of Earth view. Today, the target shall switch to 14507
from 14505. In addition, NOAA 14508 (N06E63, alpha/H-type)
contributed several flares below C1.7. Further B-class activity
is expected, with additional low-C flares likely within the coming
24 hours.

Solar activity has grown to a ~C2 level over the past 24 hours.
The target region NOAA 14505 produced the largest event, a
C2.4 flare at 12:34 UT yesterday. Additionally, this region also
generated a C1.0 and two mid-B flares. 14505 was designated
as a beta/D-type magnetic configuration, as it transited beyond
the northwest limb. Today, the target will remain with the looptops
of NOAA 14505. B-class and low-C activities are probable in
the next 24 hours.

yesterday from the newly emerged active region NOAA
14505. This region has been the most productive, producing
four ~C1 and eight mid-to-high B-class flares. It has been
classified as a beta/B-type sunspot group. Today, 14505
becomes the new target. B-class activity is expected, with
additional low-C flares likely over the following 24 hours.
